These three large vans are essentially one of the same, sharing the same platform and dimensions, meaning if you can stand up in one of them, you’d be able to do exactly the same in the other two! Opting for H2 models in the Citroen Relay, Peugeot Boxer and Fiat Ducato, gives you a load height of 1.93 metres, meaning anyone under 6.3 foot tall would easily be able to stand up in the back, whereas opting for H3 models increases the load height to 2.17 metres and in excess of 7 feet tall!
The iconic Ford Transit is incredibly practical and unloading this large van is made easier with the ability for you to stand up in the back. Depending on your height, you may be able to stand up in H2 models, with a load height of approximately 6.16 feet, however for taller individuals you may need H3 models with a load height of 2.125 metres (just under 7 feet!).
International van of the year 2017, the Volkswagen Crafter certainly has some incredibly impressive credentials, but can you stand up in it? H2 models should suffice for the majority, with a load height of 1.96 metres (approximately 6.4 feet) however there is also a H3 option which takes the load area height to more than 7 feet high, which means you may even be able to get someone on your shoulders in the back!
No your eyes aren’t deceiving you, we’ve got a medium van on the list! This mainly applies to the highest model in the Volkswagen Transporter range, the L2H3 with a load height of 1.94 metres (approximately 6.36 feet). Meaning the majority of new van drivers should be able to stand up in the back of it, with obvious exceptions for the tallest of you out there!
The Iveco Daily is a large van built for the toughest of tasks and the biggest of jobs! Some of you will be able to stand up in the back of H2 models, with a load area of 1.9 metres high (approximately 6.2 feet). The majority of you however will definitely be able to stand up in H3 models with a load area that is 2.1 metres high (Approximately 6.88 feet).
